Past Projects
The Theta Kappa House Corporation is charged with the continued upkeep and maintenance of the Theta Kappa Chapter. The House Corporation has a budget for continued maintenance and small projects and now has a Property Management company to help coordinate those. However, there is an ongoing need for improvements to the house that simply cannot be paid for from general funds.
Recently Completed Projects:
2009-10:
- Kitchen and Upstairs Bathroom Renovations.




Summer of 2011:
- Repainted the exterior – including repair of siding and columns
- Re-built the deck sub-structure and a section of the top boards. (temporary fix)
- Converted a downstairs bedroom back to a Study with conference table, nice chairs and book shelves.
- Replaced all doors, frames and hardware on upstairs rooms.
Summer of 2012:
- Replaced windows in the three bedrooms in back of the house.
Summer of 2013:
- Remodeled the two downstairs bathrooms with ceramic tile walls, granite countertops and air hand dryers.
- Replaced the windows in the study and downstairs bedroom with energy efficient models.



Summer of 2014:
- Replaced the windows in all upstairs bedrooms with energy efficient models.
- Replaced water heater that supplies the downstairs bathrooms and kitchen
Summer / Fall of 2015:
- Replaced and upgraded window blinds in bedrooms and the study
- Replaced stalls in upstairs bathroom
- Replaced refrigerator and washer and dryer
- Replaced chairs in study and installed a large white board
- Added ground level lighting system in front and back yard
Fall of 2016:
- Upgraded security camera system DVR and new cameras to protect property
- Repaired and re-stained the fence around the backyard
